Advantages: It is a good option if you want something economic to give more functionality to your TV that is not smart tv. It's like having a smartphone connected to the TV, although with an easy-to-use interface.

Advantages: Nice custom launcher, though I prefer to replace it with the Nova launcher from Google Play. Firmware has been relatively bug free, little in the way of lag. Streams 1080p video effortlessly. Picture and audio quality is up there with more expensive models.

Limitations: No really big cons with this box, though the included Kodo krypton 17.4 wrapped within Wechip's own container refused to cooperate once I switched to Nova launcher. Easily remedied as I downloaded the latest 17.6 from Google Play. I run it through a 720p TV so set the box to match, but first two times I tried the switch the box froze and on reboot the box was still set to automatic resolution which I find with these TV boxes means 1080p 60Hz regardless of the content resolution being played.
