Limitations: So far so good. Updated my Himedia q5 pro, it works lot better than it was. Starts faster, plays large files really easy.

Advantages: Its the best media player I ever had. himedia q5 pro Plays nearly any format i could throw at it, easy to setup and straightforward menu navigation. The hisilicon chipset really has the best support for 4k video streaming, plus the AC3 , dolbe dts, 7.1 sound ,etc.

Advantages: This is a really nice unit and the fact that you can 4k videos at 60fps, output dolby dts is a very nice touch. Fortunately, it also has enough processing power for my needs- for anime downloads and video streaming.

Advantages: I was in love with it at the first site. I was just blown away at all the add ons available in KODI. Movies, TV shows, and live TV all in one place. And I could access to tons of free addons for free movies, TV shows, adult content, etc. Just search online "Fusion installer tvaddons" and it will walk you through the process of getting tons of free content--it's very easy.

Advantages: If you are hunting for a great android media player, this is it. The audio pass-through worked like a charm and it supports them all, ie. DTS, 7.1, DTS-HD, DD Plus, etc. When I do get a surround sound setup I know I'm covered. Same for 4k capabilities. You might need a UHD TV or monitor before diving in if you are looking to get the most out of the gadget. But, a 1080p set would also be fime. But again, this box handles 3d, 4k, h265 decoding, HDR, and anything you would need for future setups.

Taking the himedia a5 pro as a step up from my old android 4.4 box, Kodi setup completed within 1 minute and I couldn't be happier as it played every format of my collection. All of my videos look great on screen.

Advantages: Product is fine if functioning as intended.This product has software issues. I will not recommend

Limitations: Too many to list. For starters, unit does not function well... software issues. Unit turns off ( shut down) and on by itself and has problems staying log in to your network. Buyer beware.Customer service.... -1.
