Cubot is not a famous company, but its devices deserve attention. The new phone from the company is in our today's review. It is called P20. In our system, the phone received a mark of 6,25 points.

Package
The smartphone comes in a small black box. The box consists of a transparent silicone case, a power adapter (5V-2A), a micro USB cable, a SIM needle, and manual.
Design
Manufacturers tried to make premium design and they did it well. It perfectly combines a slim body, rounded edges and a notch. The body is made of plastic.
Most of the front panel is occupied by the display. The phone has almost no bezels, only a notch and a small bezel at the bottom of the front panel. A front camera, sensors, a receiver, and a LED indicator are located on the notch.
The back panel of the device is made of glossy plastic, not of glass, as it may seem when you see the phone for the first time. In the left corner, a double camera and flashlight are placed. The fingerprint scanner is located in the center. It responds quickly.
At the very bottom of the back panel are the brand name and information about the manufacturer.
The sides are made of plastic. On the left side, there is a hybrid sim tray. On the right, the volume rocker and the power button are located.
If you are looking for a 3.5 mm audio jack, then it is located on top. At the bottom of the device are a microphone, speaker and micro USB port.
Display
The screen comes with a diagonal of 6.18 inches. This is an IPS panel with a resolution of Full HD + (2246 x1080 pixels) and 19: 9 aspect ratio. The screen covers 2.5 glass with rounded edges and an oleophobic coating. Fingerprints can be easily removed from the screen surface.
The screen gets 8,83 points.
Hardware
The smartphone is powered by MT6750T with a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz. Mali T860MP works here as a graphics accelerator. The manufacturer has equipped the device with 4 RAM and 64 GB ROM. This combination is quite enough for the average user. You should not expect high performance from such hardware.
We tested the device with the PUBG game. In general, the game launched and we managed to play it. Frankly, in some places, fps dropped to 20. It is worth noting that during the game the battery discharged quickly. For 15 minutes of gameplay, we spent 10% of the battery charge. Obviously, the P20 is not made for such games.
Performance gets 6,4 points. The Antutu tests gave the device 58 338 points.
Cameras
The smartphone comes with a double rear camera, where the main module comes with a resolution of 20 MP and the secondary module with 2 MP. The secondary module is used to blur the background (bokeh photography). Photo quality is average.
The 13-megapixel front camera is not perfect, but good.
The cameras were rated at 8,2 points.
Battery
The smartphone comes with a 4000 mAh battery. It is able to provide a day of active use, where you can watch videos, surf the net, and do many other things with the phone.
The battery gets 7,98 points.
OS
The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. This is a pure Android, which comes with a file manager, gallery and other standard applications from Google.
The operating system gets a mark of 8,77 points.
Conclusion
It should be said that the device has a nice design, a good display, a powerful battery, and good performance. If you like to use your phone as a camera, then this one is not for you. We recommend this phone to buy!
