Advantages: Have a decent camera, nice price and are very resistent to falls. The Syma X5SC-1 is a very good choice for sarters, have headless mode, very usefull to beginners, good stability in no wind condition and as a camera so you can do some funny videos and take aerial photos.

Limitations: Poor wind resistence and the fan guards break too easy

Advantages: Was shipped from EU warehouse to Latvia in 9 days. Package was complete: quadcopter (red body with orange tint), remote control, 500 mAh battery, USB charger, camera + 4 GB SD card, 4 prop guards, 4 extra propellers, screwdriver and manual. - Easy to begin to fly. - Stable and easy manoeuvrable if no or very little wind. - Sturdy body and propellers. Wasn't broke them so far. - Battery can be easy replaced. - Camera attaching and removing is easy. May be upgraded with stock FPV module later. - Particularly DIY friendly for tech savvy users without fear from soldering iron. - The red body looks very nice and can be easy distinguished against grass and trees.

Limitations: Is difficult to control in windy condition. Seems because quad has lightweight body with large cross section. Poor prop guard location in the box. One was bent and blocked a propeller. I was forced to correct it with hot iron. It looks like a common problem. GearBest should inform Syma to fix packaging method for X5SC series quad prop guards. Is difficult to know if camera is in filming mode. Adding the "Camera ON" indicator on remote display in next X5C versions would be cool. 10 min without prop guards and camera at one charge is too short. I recommend to by an extra set of batteries with simultaneous charger such as http://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopters-parts/pp_157816.html or http://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopter-parts/pp_216957.html. Seriously, you won't regret that. I only wanted to point to things which can be done better for future models. Actually X5SC-1 is a nice quad for beginner or casual flyer. I like it.

Advantages: The quadcopter came well packaged with manual + extra blades + charger + battery + camera + ... I have not tested the quadricopter yet because it should be a christmas gift for my father. Advantages: - good price - very durable, I had a lot of hard landing and the copter is still fine - camera included, video quality is acceptable - spare batteries are cheap, so you can fly all day, up to 8 minutes on single battery - memory card and card reader included - videos HAVE NOT any jello effect! Significant improvement compared to the previous version of Syma X5 - you have Low and High settings, on High steering needs more precision, but the flight is much more dynamic and fun - good option if it's your the very first quadcopter

Limitations: - 30 metres of effective range is not enough - camera has quite narrow FOV - controller looks like a toy, it's too delicate for me - not enough power to deal with the wind, even slight wind can destabilize a quad - you can lift 40g cameras (like Mobius), but it's a big effort for the motors and it's very hard to conrol the quad, if you want to fly with better camera than default, you need to find some 20g cam, like 808 #16
