Advantages: I bought it for my 24 years old daughter, and it is near perfect. in general, I don't like gold color, but that one is pale with a hint of rose. Nice. One of the few phones with reasonable sized body. It does not have NFC and wireless charging, and in my opinion it is not critical. Wireless charging in the car is great option, but, as I see it, not a deal breaker.Price is great, performance is very good. Bluetooth works well (tested for a day on HiFi external speaker with HD audiophile music). It consumed very little battery charge and deliver quality similar to wired output of HiFi player.Delivery time was unbelievable short, and I am not using DHL due to multiple very bad experience. it came with ROM from xiaomi.eu which is by far my favorite for any Xiaomi phone. I did an update to the latest stable MIUI 10, and it is stable and works great. So far it is the best experience I had since getting MI 4 (still very amazing device

Conclusions: I ordered the Xiaomi MI 8 IS 6 hard GB of RAM and 128 hard GB of storage (Chinese and english because I expressly asked that I didn't thrown the ROM with ALL the languages). The phone arrived perfectly wrapped and sealed. Further, shipping was very fast and timely, because paid a bit more for him to come with DHL. As I am testing the telephone and by now I am very happy. Conclusions: I'm very pleased with the purchase. The phone looks really nice - the build quality is great - and performs very well. A European adapter for the charger is provided. Note that the colour is a bit rose-tinted (i.e. something between regular "gold" and "rose gold").

Conclusions: I come from a MI5 and while that phone had a very sexy aesthetic this one feels and perform way much better. The notch does not bother me and you can disable it if you like. The AMOLED screen is great with deep blacks and punchy colors (you can tweak the contrast if you don't like them). Overall it performs kinda like a Snapdragon 835. Not to mention the very good camera 12+5mpx back 20mpx front. Just buy it you won't regret.
