EKEN H9 - Comments

Conclusions: This is the second Eken H9 cam I purchased from Banggood. The first one had a SD-card issue. The card wouldn't click into the camera. So the cam was useless. I couldn't get a new one and was giving a slim refund. A few months later I tried to give the camera another try so I bought one again and what do you know, now the little screen on the back is giving a white screen. Really this product is nothing good and a waste of money.

Conclusions: Got this camera on sale, cheap but there's a reason behind it. first, its crushed, had already been opened, charger had been removed, but it came with an adapter for US plug. In the box and in the manual, shows charger is standard. Emailed Banggood and got a reply saying charger not included. I must have missed that part or detail that charger is not included. Because if I have known that, why would i buy a product which is a battery operated camera and charger is not included. Same product in Gearbest

Conclusions: Remember to peel off the lens covering sticker before use.

Conclusions: Great Camera, looks really nice in terms of quality, comes with many accessories ! HOWEVER, the lens on the casing was scratched ! one big scratch and few others (smaller)... As if the camera's casing had been previously used! THERE WERE PROTECTIVE LAYERS ON THE CAMERA ITSELF AND ON THE BACK SCREEN OF THE CASING BUT NOT ON THE FRONT LENS OF THE CASING....

Conclusions: I buy the yellow. Verry good little camera. A lot of extra stuff on it. Also in low light a good kwali! Already have some friends, that are interested to also buy one. I'm for now happy with it. Only thing I give Quality 4 starts, I have received it without the battery-cover.

Conclusions: This camera is just as great as a more expensive sport camera I own. The video quality is amazing and it has more features then my expensive one. Time lapse is great for shooting how to videos when you need to show a lot of info in a short period of time and saves on having to do a lot of video editing. It has so many brackets that I haven't used a fraction of them yet but they all seem to be great quality. I will definitely be purchasing another one in the near future.

Conclusions: I managed to get this on sale so I bought 2 for use on my quadcopter. It's approximately 20g lighter than a gopro, and doesn't cost so much if I damage it. The picture quality is almost on par with that of a Hero 3 as well but doesn't handle the dark shades as well. Colours are vibrant with high contrast. Apparently there's an update you can do to get 720px120fps, but I have yet to try that out. The wifi works well and the app allows a small degree of setting changes. Conclusions: So after some extensive testing, I have found the following: 1080p / 30fps is the true capability of this camera. 1080p / 60fps is actually 720p but up-scaled (with quality loss) to 1080p 2.7K / 30fps is actually 1080p up-scaled (with quality loss) to 2.7K 4K / 25fps is actually 1080p up-scaled to 2.7K, with huge quality loss and stuttering. video really isn't watchable. WiFi works with the app and is quite impressive. Audio quality is much lower than any other camera of this type. Disappoin
