Advantages: I purchased this camera back in August 2016. I received the product here in the United States approximately 2.5 weeks later. I purchased the camera to do motorcycle video blogging or "motovlogging," for short, and I mostly record at 1080p/60fps because that is the most widely used format on YouTube. Still not as good as a GoPro Hero4 but pretty close, and for a fraction of the cost, it is extremely good. There is an app on both Apple and Android platforms you can download. The interface is pretty simple to follow and I have found it useful. I would highly recommend this product. One suggestion I will make is try to get a spare battery or two. Especially if you do extensive video recording like I do.

Limitations: Upon initial inspection of product received, I discovered a circular blemish around the base of the lens. However, it does not affect the performance of the camera. Everything else included was received without any defects or issues. The camera states 4K but it is an interpolaced 4K which is not a true 4K format. Therefore, I do not even bother using 4K. About a week or two ago, the clamp on the waterproof housing cracked and broke off. I am looking for either a replacement part or a new waterproof housing case. However, I cannot find one for the Explorer Elite, anywhere. I am hoping Customer Service will be able to help me there and I have contacted them already.

Advantages: I buy this for a friend and he love this well it´s not a Xiaomi....but its good!

Limitations: none

Advantages: at first it was quite challenging to learns its setup mode because it got so much features. tried and tested indoors and outdoors. for indoor video and picture its not that good enough but the interpolation of the 4k sensor while capturing videos on the outside is great!

Limitations: sometimes the software gets jammed while switching from picture mode to video mode and has to remove the battery and place it again so the camera turns of an on again. lacks a restart or reset function. found the front mode button on the housing a bit hard to press when compered to the side buttons and the shutter release.

Conclusions: Budget Camera,great value for money but not the best. Pros: Value for money. Go pro compatible. Wide angle. Action camera small form factor with LCD screen. Feature rich UI.Lot of settings to play with & control camera. Cons: 4K is not true 4K just not able to match that perfect video format. App has very few settings.App UI limits control over camera.Wifi connection was not smooth.Video feed lags over wifi on app. Cannot use while charging. Overheating issues.

Advantages: perfect action cam, for a good price

Advantages: I like to have a display to see what I'm doing, overwall a great relation machine/price...nice photos and nice videos during the day, walking, and driving...

Limitations: At the begining of the day or end, starting the darken, its really not great...Its a penalty this cam not have firm/soft update, I think it deserve that...

Conclusions: I don't think you can get a better action camera compared to the price. I am very impressed with the image quality, both stills and video. I would highly recommend this camera .

Limitations: Only have problems with wifi settings but will figure out how to fix that!
