Xiaomi Redmi 4A - Comments

Advantages: The Global ROM ois already installed and works very good, the whole permormance is like an middle-high budget smartphone, so for the price of about 100 € it´s a perfect deal!

Limitations: The backside is a little bit slippery, so it would be necessary to use a case.

Advantages: Great phone for this price. Its fast and built from good materials quality.

Advantages: good price ratio, high value impression, good translation of menus

Limitations: plastic body. packaging could be better, firstly its made of polythene instead of paper, not good for the environment. secondly package is not shock resistant, had some dents however no serious damage.

Advantages: Price, battery, firmware, smooth

Advantages: The phone arrived quickly. It has a nice design and is very light. The gray color is nice and the black frames on the front make them slimmer compared to the white one. It has 32 gb storage so you won't have problems with app updates for a long time! It works well. Miui 8 OS is great but we already knew it :) This one is the global version, so it will work at its best in countries outside China. And last but not least the ROM inside is the original one realaeased by Xiaomi, ready to update ota! Very satisfied!

Limitations: None so far.

Advantages: good phone for the price. I think its the best phone for that price! I love it!

Advantages: Overall, the design is nice and the device is comfortable to use one handed most of the time, which is a plus point in case of 5-inch smartphones that don't have tiny bezels. The camera software is very quick, there is barely any delay in capturing images, which is something rarely seen on inexpensive devices. Redmi 4A is capable of capturing HD video (1080p) at 30 frames per second and the output is once again pretty good in daylight but suffers in low light. I like MIUI customizations in most cases, but I began using a custom launcher after about a week with the device, as I like a clean homescreen with few icons. The MIUI apps are always good and have plenty of extra features compared to stock Android apps in general. UI consistency is once again top notch, a huge point that OEMs ignore when designing their own shells over Android.

Limitations: The Redmi 4A packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, which is coupled with an Adreno 308 graphics processing unit. The chipset itself sits at the bottom of the mid-range offered by Qualcomm, but is quite power efficient and churns out decent day-to-day performance at the same time. Since the smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM, most applications run quite well, even when used simultaneously. Xiaomi has got a winner here with the Redmi 4A. There is no room for complaints, and its highly compelling price tag makes it hard to ignore this smartphone in the entry-level price segment. The only thing that may affect someone's decision of getting this device would be MIUI, but that alone doesn't seem like a proper reason to ignore an otherwise amazing smartphone.

Advantages: awesome cell phone for awesome price

Limitations: front of this cell phone could by gold too (not white)

Advantages: Elegant, good battery (enough for a full day playn' games, twitter, whatsapp, mail...), good construction materials, seems robust enough,

Limitations: OS installed is not and usual android one, and comes with bloatware and useless apps.

Advantages: The phone is built very well, costs reasonably and works perfectly in my country. All the proper features are present and no compatibility issues whatsoever. Good battery life and responsiveness

Advantages: Too bad I ordered it for 120$ it just before the price dropped to 99$. The phone has great battery life. The 720p display is noticeable if you look very close, but it is ok for normal use, no problem. For the price, of course it's plastic, but the plastic looks acceptable, and the phone is solid.

Limitations: It doesn't come with a EU adapter for the charger. The bezels are a bit thick.

Advantages: The order arrived in excellent condition. I am quite satisfied with my Xioami

Limitations: Some of the orders only have stock in HK

Advantages: Very solid and cheap phone, comes with global stable rom and ready to be updated.

Limitations: Nothing
