Hawkeye Firefly 7s - Comments

Advantages: This is my first Gopro style cam. I did not know whether I would find them useful and so did not want to buy an expensive one. This product fits the bill as an introduction : sufficient features, good build quality, ease of use and most importantly good value.

Limitations: Anything higher than 1080p is recorded at 30fps.

Limitations: A full charge battery gives 40 min of video in 1080. Could have been more. have to order spare.

Conclusions: GOOD ITEMS

Advantages: Earlier this week I got my Hawkeye Firefly 6S and it's awesome! Yesterday I got the 7S and it's even better with the LCD in the back. Both the 6S and the 7S have awesome imagequality and the overall performance is mindblowing when you consider it's under$75. I sold my Gopro 5 and 3+ Black edition and I can honestly say that these cameras perform just as well. I know for some people there will only be GOPRO... But, in my humle opinion, these Hawkeye's are just as good! So buy one! Thanks to the great support at gearbest.com.

Conclusions: Waitung for SD card

Advantages: Good picture quality. Easy to use. Has good features timelapse, fisheye removal, menu on big screen. Takes gopro batteries and accesories. Has a lot of them in the box. Gyro stabilization Rocks! very good for use with a drone.

Limitations: I would like a touch screen, better battery life, and maby external mic and remote.

Advantages: Price, build and it comes with accesories

Conclusions: This is a good little camera for the price

Conclusions: Nice to handle this camera.. I got to update firmware to enable image stabilization. Sad that it does not have cover cap to cover its lense , but this is not big problem. As usual lot of noise when filming in darker area. It is visible that resolution is going down when light became darker (possibly because of video compressor). Overall raring quite high for such price value. The biggest disadvantage, that when filming in time laps regime over window.. in some frames visible rear button led blinking
