Conclusions: i bought this cam to put on my quad. the video quality seems little less than my old xiaomi yi action cam. but the gyro makes the video much more stabilized. it’s worth the money. one regret concerning this camera I can’t buy extra battery. banggood doesn’t ship to my country.

Conclusions: I bought this camera to replace a GoPro Hero 4 that I use on a FeiyuTech 3-Axis Gimbal mounted on a custom drone. It was frustrating attempting to control the camera mode and shutter via pwm RC signals on the GoPro it worked but it required a special Wi-Fi module that was not very reliable. So I did a lot of research and found the FireFly 8s with the optional RC cable (available on banggood) was a perfect fit for what I was looking for. 1. 4K 2. Controllable camera mode via RC PWM 3. Controllable

Conclusions: I opted for the 90 degree version as i wasn't keen on the fish eye effect i had seen on the 170 degree version in youtube reviews. unable to unbox/ test as this is a Christmas present and needs wrapping :)

Conclusions: I ordered the hawkeye firefly 8s camera for a drone. The drone has a hdmi input for image transfer to the ground and i already used it with the xiaomi yi camera. But with the new camera the hdmi image output doesn't work. Therefore the camera is unusable for me. I tried lot of camera and everyone works perfect, only the new firefly 8s didn't work.

Conclusions: It's cheaper than others with same or similar specs. Hawkeye has some good optional accessories, but some other brands are still better in this area. But it's hard to be disappointed with this camera, mainly considering the price. PROS: Great image quality, good package accessories, anti-shake works very well (but only in 1080p/60fps, good that is my favorite quality choice), accepts 128GB SDcard, good batery life. CONS: mobile app is sometimes a pain to connect, needs some tries. Working is fine
