Advantages: The drone is perfectly packed. It's a perfect drone for people who are starting in this hobby. I've recieved the order in 15 days, so perfect. I'm really happy with Syma x5sw.

Conclusions: Well, they say third time's the charm, and in this case they were right. I bought this at the beginning of December for my son who was turning 16 on December 22nd. The first one took a nose dive to the right, every time he tried to fly it. The second one blew a motor the second time he flew it. The one we are on now seems to be doing fine. Now, I have not personally flown it, nor do I understand anything other than, it's a quad copter and my son loves it. I specifically picked one because he had never flown one before. I would say it's a great starter, and I love that he can see it's point of view through his phone. Super cool!

Conclusions: I own several quads but was looking for an inexpensive rig that I could use to teach new drone pilots. This is a great starter drone! The FPV camera works well but it is low resolution. For the price I cannot complain. It flies stable and should be easy enough to handle for newcomers. Once you get it dialed in and trimmed, it will hover without much effort. If you are new I would recommend installing the blade guards, it will save you from damaging some props. I would have given this unit 5 stars but the FPV video was all blurry and out of focus. I was able to dissemble the camera and adjust the focus by turning the lens clockwise which great improved the video quality. It weighs only a little more than 4 ounces so you won't have to register it. I recommend buying a couple extra batteries and if possible upgrade them to 700 mah from the stock 500 mah batteries. This will give you a little more zip and flight time.

Conclusions: This is my second brand of serious TOY grade quads. I have two Holy Stone / Stytech M68R quad. Purchased the Syma due to the first person perspective (FPP) mode since I could better control the movie / photo mode. THE GOOD: FPP does work. It has a high capacity battery for more flight time. THE BAD: The appears to be less stable than the M68R. The video quality is lower than the camera on the M68R. NOTES: Vid and stills saved on pad / phone not on the aircraft. There can be a steep learning curve flying FPP if you have been flying by viewing the quad.

Conclusions: Its my first drone.I crashed my drone many times but still in a proper condition. Only thing is it cannot withstand wind, it's just gets carried away with winds. Its a pretty good drone for beginners. Be careful with the remote control it got damaged easily (flip button and headless mode button) it got spoilt by just hitting the rack.be careful with those buttons

Conclusions: Great drone for money. I have to say I have actually bought three. Bought one for my nephew and lost it in woods after first 30 minutes range and altitude better than I imagined and we got it to high and wind got it. It is very light and will be a battle in the wind. It done so good I ordered him another and bought myself one. Very durable have crashed into building, trees and a very hard ground impact that only bent a prop. Recommend extra batteries I bought the 1100mA that barely fits in battery compartment and hard to get out but I have got up to 20 minutes of flight time. One thing I liked was you can replace any part of drone for a few dollars. Camera does a great job on photos and videos.

Conclusions: I just received this little guy today and I am very impressed with this thing. It flies great, the camera is good quality, and it is very easy to control. I love how it can perform acrobatics and fpv for such a low price. I would highly recommend this product. My only complaint is that when i received my unit, the propellers wete a little scratched and dirty as if it had been used prior to me receiving it, and for that it receives 4 stars. I also don't like tye the 2hour charge time for a 5 minute flight time. Would recommend extra batteries as well. But definitely get this product!

Conclusions: I don't know why the same model in white color costs more, they both do the same, I had one in white but after crashed behind a fence I lost the drone, somebody tooked, so it is very important to fly this in an open space like a big parking lot, inside a big auditorium like the ones in high schools if you can do it would be the best option to practice since the wind is no problem and no way to lose the drone of course don't do it when there is an event in progress, also I recommend to start practicing your first flights with the headless mode on and the speed to the lowest, with no camera attached, then when you get familiar to control the drone you'll be ready to fly even over the beach !, don't forget to buy extra batteries.

Conclusions: Great fun to fly. Good entry level drone. It's very responsive and has plenty of power. The drone itself is great fun to fly and stable in most winds. You have be a little careful in the wind as it's light and gets pushed around a bit. Especially above 10 MPH. If it's windy, I suggest the headless mode as it's easier to control. I can attest to its toughness and durability as I have done my fair share of crash tests. Not intentionally! Initially, I was disappointed in the ability to access the photos and transfer them to my main computer, but I found I didn't have my settings set up properly to allow the photos to be transferred properly. Once I properly set up the settings in my iPhone, everything was fine

Conclusions: This is my second quad chopper ... I really like this one over the other ... very responsive and great pics and videos with the iPhone attached. If I were to list some deficiencies, it would be that the chopper is still a little too light to fly in any real wind conditions and second .. good thing it comes with extra batteries. Each of the included batteries has about 5 - 7 minutes of fly time. I also bought an additional battery with "more" life - it lasts about 10 - 12 minutes. I wish they could make a battery that would give at least a solid 15 - 20 minutes of flying.

Conclusions: So far so good. Santa brought one of these to each of my sons. They were easy to assemble. The instructions are poorly organized and translated from the original Chinese. I had to teach myself to fly them before I could let the boys fly them. They are not so easy to control at first so take them to a park a couple of times for practice before flying them in your driveway. Battery life is about 10 minutes per flight. Charge time for the batteries is about an hour. When the drone strikes the groud it will automatically switch from headless mode to standard. You'll have to re-calibrate the drone using the controller again. This isn't cumbersome but kind of a pain to have to repeat.
