Conclusions: fun machine. Works very well for money. only weak point so far are the blade protectors. they are a little on the flimsy side.

Conclusions: First: please be aware that this product ships from China and may take 3 weeks to arrive. And, if it malfunctions or breaks, you cannot return it, get it repaired or buy replacement parts. That said, it arrived with all pieces intact, I (middle-aged woman) was able to assemble and get up up and running in 10 minutes. Super fun and the camera is fair quality. Came with two extra batteries and a set of extra wings. Some of the parts are taped to the bottom of the packaging insert which was not obvious.

Conclusions: bought for friend, he said it works as stated UPDATE: Package arrive after Christmas but stated would be here before that time. I contacted seller (amkooku) and they gave me a refund of $8.00 which will buy a spare battery. This being said, I would buy from this seller again.

Conclusions: Fun toy for my daughter at Christmas. It works well, easy to fly, the camera is real grainy, but for the price its fine.

Conclusions: This is a great starter drone at a really good price. Comes with three batteries. Each one takes about 1.5 hours to charge and runs for 5-10 minutes. Pros: Cheap and fun. Not hard to assemble. Comes with extra propellers. Almost every part is replaceable with the included screwdriver. Cons: This drone does not perform well in wind; even a light breeze will blow it away. We have not yet had a day that was still enough to really put it through its paces. It works well indoors (still drifts a little, but the fine-tuning controls seem to help). It is not easy to fly (I'm a beginner). It supposedly has a "headless mode", but I haven't gotten it to work. I can't get the camera to connect to the app, so FPV, pictures and video are non-functional (I'm hoping to have more success in a remote area with less ambient WiFi signals). The parts are cheap plastic--after only a couple of days (and many crashes) one of the propeller guards is broken.

Conclusions: I have about 3 hours of flying into this thing and it's AWESOME. Stable when recording but you can always take of the camera and have some fun. The only down side to it is that I wish the battery was bigger. It doesn't last too long.

As for the drone, I got this to allow me to learn to fly a drone prior to investing in a more expensive drone and for that reason it is great. I have been flying this the last two days, have hit quite a few things and it has not done any damage to the drone, even got some interesting video. Now with a bit of practice I can take off fly around the back yard and land again on the table on the patio with no issues. The drone is very light and can be affected by the wind but is generally very easy to learn to fly. Have some fun and enjoy this quad copter.

Conclusions: This seems to be a good drone for beginners. I got this as a gift for my husband, who is a total beginner. He got the hang of it quickly but was disappointed that it's only 5 minute fly time with the battery life. Not sure if this is a normal thing for all drones, but we'll definitely have to get more batteries.

Conclusions: I got mine stuck in the tree first day I got it. Don't give up and try to get it down. It started raining while I tried getting it down and I did not give up. I almost gave up and ordered a Syma x5c-1, wanted both anyway. I finally got a long pole from my maintenance guy, and after 10 throws up into the tree I nailed it and it fell down. One of the guards cracked, but that was it. I let it dry and charged the battery. I now have a x5c-1 and x5sw. The x5c-1 is easier to fly and control, but just remove the camera from the x5sw and you get the same experience. The camera is heavier on the x5sw than the x5c-1. Hope this helps.

Conclusions: This Quad is an excellent beginner's training step towards larger more complex models. The pitch and yaw axis leave a bit to be desired for more experienced flyers but once again for a beginner (and for the price) you will find it hard to find anything to compare it to. The quad is also very durable for its size and price range. I've let my 7yr old fly it around and he gave it a few fairly heavy bumps and it came through with hardly a scratch. They send several spare parts with the package but honestly.....I haven't had to repair/replace much...just a drive gear which kept slipping...and I fixed that with CA. The only real complaint I have is in the radio range, get it to high/far from you and it seems to want to drop out of the sky but levels off once back in range.Overall this would be an excellent first quad and I'd recommend it to anyone...as a matter of fact I already have.

Conclusions: Received the Syma X5SW as an early Christmas gift today. I took it to work at the firehouse to try it out. We had great fun learning cool tricks and such. The range is listed as 50 meters. We took it out at night to see the pretty lights on it. I know it was at least 200 meters away when I lost the signal. We then watched as it blinked happily into the treeline and out of sight never to be seen again. This in spite of a search party of professionals. It worked great and was a lot of fun. I quickly reordered and hope it gets here before my wife realizes it is among the missing. The moral is this: Don't listen to co-workers to see how high and far it will go. Peer pressure can be a bad thing.

Conclusions: This surprised me for the price it is a fun quad. Pros 1. Powerful and responsive 2. Camera with wifi fpv is awesome 3. Durable I have crashed it pretty hard and is still in one piece Cons 1. Very light weight so even a little wind makes it more difficult to fly 2. Short battery life I recommend buying extra batteries All in all for the price it is a fun little drone great for beginners like me . Update: i have had this for more than 3 months now and it has held up well taking a beating and still flies like a champ.
