Conclusions: I'm going to make this initial entry brief and plan to expand. Bottom line, this is an EXCELLENT drone for the price ($115). It flies great - once you get it going. The manual is mostly worthless. It was not written by native English readers/speakers. Some of the errors are downright funny. But in the end, there are some gross errors that make assembly extremely confusing. We needed to view youtube for a number of essential instructions. The most important part to note. After 2 days of flying, it went headfirst into a pool - fully submerged with the camera before I could get it out. After a 3 hour dry out in the sun and a new battery, it was back up and running as if nothing had happened.

Conclusions: This is my second X8HG so the useless instructions did not bother me as I had to learn the how-toos the hard way. Drone is really affected by the wind, any wind. I could not keep it airborne when the directional controls (left/right/forward/back) were divided between the toggle switches. Somehow my controller suddenly has all horizontal motion on the right toggle and the vertical and rotational controls on the left. Hope it doesn't suddenly revert as this makes operating it MUCH easier for me.
