Conclusions: GREAT dron specially for beginners like me the FPV works very good its hard to fly on windy days but for the price it a good choice. the ship was really fast and arrived in only 3 weeks recommended 100%

Advantages: Good build quality with good parts. I permanently use the rotor protectors since it is my first drone and needs to have some practice first. The camera is useless in my opinion, dont excpect anything fancy, after a while I skipped to use it. Easy to control and easy to use. Even in dark conditions you can follow its flight by the leds. Good accessories.

Limitations: Not made for flipping. Not a long range machine.

Advantages: The JXD 509G is a nice Quad copter to start with. Flying the drone is very easy. When you turn the quad copter you can use the FPV to check in which direction the drone flies. Otherwise you would have to check the lights or the camera to check which direction it flies. Overall flying time is acceptable (up to 12 minutes depending on wind etc).

Limitations: I would suggest buying extra batteries. They are inexpensive at gearbest. Myself I fly with 5 extra batteries which gives me an airtime of about 1 hours. The only downside is the video record which is a bit wobbly. You can fix this by using double sided velcro between drone and camera. The recording after this fix is nice.

Conclusions: This product was surprisingly rezilient. My son has crashed it many number of times, into buildings, trees, veichles, etc. Of course it has some scuff marks, but is working correctly. It is pack pretty tight, so be sure you are ready to unpack it because it is very difficult to get it back in its packaging. For a beginner drone it surprised me, it seems kinda flimsy, but it is tuffer then it looks. The camera and LCD screen link up from the start and have not yet lost signal with each other. The video is great guailty for what it is, playback works well on the laptop. My son loves it, new hobby started for him.

Conclusions: I've been flying RC airplanes for 40 years, but this is my first camera drone. It flies very well and the videos and pictures are very impressive, still getting used to the FPV but it seems to work very well. The instruction manual is fairly complete (just a little bit of "Chinglish") but read it completely and you should have no problems. Binding the radio wasn't well explained so here's the way it works: turn on the drone power switch and set it on the ground facing away from you, turn on the transmitter, push the left throttle stick full up till you hear a beep, then full down till you hear 2 beeps, when the lights go solid it is bound, pull both sticks down and to the center and then release, when lights are solid, it is ready to fly. Altitude hold function is great, allows you to focus on what you want to video. It is very light so it doesn't like much wind. It seems to be a great value and a very good first camera drone.

Conclusions: Great right out of the box. Charged the batteries and good to go.Unfortunately this was my first drone and after deciding to fly it first without the camera it ended up 40ft in a tree. It seemed pretty stable at first, but after getting it up a ways, the wind took over and bye bye. Maybe if I had left the camera on it would have been a little more stable. All in all it seems like a nice unit for the price. Anybody know where I can buy just the drone without the camera, remote or fpv screen? I've already got those.

Conclusions: One of the best FPV beginner drones out there. The altitude hold on this drone works great and makes it easy for someone to learn the controls without the worry of them nose diving into the ground. The camera on the drone looks good, so does the monitor on the receiver. Battery life is not very long. About 9-10 minutes on a good day, so I recommend picking up some extra batteries. *****IMPORTANT***** If you buy extra batteries make sure in the description that it says they are compatible with a JXD 509.

Conclusions: the drone makes all my friends jealous because of the outstanding fpv and control is down right amazing. The batteries range from 30-60 minutes. The range is about 120 meters or 115 yards. I would recommend this drone to any flyer. By the way, the camera is amazing to. But I recommend getting a 32gb micro sd card because the 4gb will run out of storage fast.

Conclusions: This drone is absolutely incredible! I received this in the mail very efficiently and set it up with no worries. The actual drone can go so high and really cover any area. I am loving playing around with this, theres so much more to learn still but I am very happy I purchased this!
