An excellent smartphone

Advantages: An excellent smartphone. I've been using it for a year and a few months, and I have no problems with it. Pictures and filming are of great quality. Operation is excellent without lags. I'm not a fan of the games but I gave it to someone to play it and liked it a lot. The screen is bright and clear, quality materials. The battery keeps in at least one day.I can not think of what this smartphone should have.It is at least at the same level as Samsung S7 but at a much lower price.Even though stronger phones are now available, it is still a great solution for those who want quality and performance at a low price.

Greatest phone for the price yet

Advantages: Really great built-in qulity, good construction, hardware and design. Phone is easy to use and very fast. Nice exterior colour and display. Very good grip and size, despite the 5.15 inch display that could be a little bigger. Camera is nice, and so far, the MI interface looks sharp and clean. Dual tone flash is a welcome feature. Fast charging also pretty good. Price is just fantastic, for what you get in the box. If you need a great phone for a great price, LOOK NO FURTHER!!

Limitations: It doesn't have sd card slot, but the 64gb might resolve the memory space issue. But for someone who was using a 8gb phone, it is just outstanding. Fingerprint sensor is not working well, but it might be a user/software problem. Couldn't dig out much to check it yet.Shipping was just terrible, and that alone was a bad experience. For those in Brazil, specially in MG, do not use "BR Express" shipping mode. It took almost two months to arrive. Not worth it.

Ordered Mi5s, but seller sent Mi5

Conclusions: Ordered Mi5s, but seller sent Mi5. Good thing, that i made a vedio of unpacking. Asked for compensation 51$, but seller started to lie "we cant be sure that this is our phone" cause i couldnt upload it on Ali (sent a Youtube link) and in Ali rules i cant use other resoursec for video. Slow shipping (took 6 days to send me phone). Good thing he accepted the dispute, but i waited almost 3 weeks for dispute to over.

Just Well made phone for good price

Advantages: Low price 2d glass - I never considered it a big deal but it makes using phone slighty more comfortable Specs- 3 gb ram 64 gb rom UTFS 2.0 and snapdragon 821this combination provide very fast working Camera - Can't say it's top one but for this price is very good, i had galaxy s5 and i'm sure it's better than it MIUI - Interface is very good in both terms of good looking and responsibility Build quality - Metal + glass is great combination Conectivity- USB C, Jack and dual sim. Nowadays they're not in every smartphone so it's worth mentioning.

Limitations: Screen is easly scratchable so better buy screen protector Not every LTE Band supported No sd card slot (but with 64 GB on board it's not a bid deal)

Best phone

Conclusions: Model Black/gray 3/64. Arrived within 3 weeks via Swiss Post. Box unsealed. The phone firmware was changed to global stable. Bootloader was unlocked. The phone seems to have no problems yet.

Finally made the choice for...

Conclusions: Happy to receive this (new) phone! Had redmi note 3 pro + redmi note pro SE and the Redmi note 4X. So now I bought this Mi5S. love the MIUI look and feel so this phone was again welcome. The speed improvement is hardly noticeable over the Redmi note 3 pro. But the camera is MUCH better! screen looks better also. The extra NFC scanner could be useful some day?. sad that they removed the Memory card option but with 64GB internal memory it should last me a long time.My main concern is the battery life
