ILIFE V5 - Comments

Advantages: It's been almost a year since I bought this little guy. Still works like the day one. It cleans very good, dust bin get full everytime it cleans. Avoids obstacles very good. And even gets to the charger almost every time when it finish.Occasionally get stuck when tangled on cables or something similar, but it is not really its fault. So it is very important to lift cables from the floor before cleaning.Very useful option is scheduled cleaning, setting timer on a specific time gets your home cleaned while you are at work. Other options like edge clean or spot clean are also very usefull.Recommend it to everyone. I don't believe you can find better price-quality ratio than this!

Limitations: For this price - nothing at all!

Advantages: Just got it yesterday and have been playing a bit with this beetle. It's really a nice addition to our household.It is very easily to install and set up and works like a charm out of the box. The are several replacement parts in the box, which is a nice gesture of the manufacturer. After getting the charge station plugged in, it is really one press on the remote and it's working. As I've just been playing with it, I can't really fully review the V5, but for what I have seen it works very well and gets easily around . I chose the V5 because it's my first robot vacuumer, the price was good and I don't need the mopping function. Will get back for a better review.

Limitations: None yet.

Advantages: - It works well on carpet - Fully automatic, you press a button and it goes on a cleaning routine until it gets low on battery - Automatically returns to its base when the charge its low - It has an included mop attachment, there is no water tank but it can mop reasonably well it you wet the cloth. It can actually vacuum and mop in the same run. - Detects possible large drops, so it does't fall off the stairs. - It can be programmed to activate once a day. - They include replacement filters and brushes, so It should last years - Manages to find its way back to base in a medium house 80% of the time - It's slim enough that it fits under my bed and furniture - The dust bin has just enough capacity for a daily run or two max. - Battery autonomy is great, two hours of continuous operation

Limitations: - Sometimes it tends to get stuck if it encounters an obstacle it can half climb, like the borders of some furniture. - It's a bit noisy, you can hear it working from a room away. - The bottom tends to get quite dirty after it completes a cleaning cycle. - It normally detects objects before bumping into them but with certain things like the legs of chairs it doesn't see them and so bumps into them and moves them around a little. - It can only be programmed once per day, but the battery charges fast enough that two or three times a day shouldn't be a problem.

Advantages: 1. Small size 2. Really slim (only 7cm high) 3. Long battery running time (tested from fully charged battery to returned home base time last about 1-1/2H) 4. Silent (you can use it even in late nights and still no disturbing for neighbors) 5. Remote controlled too, send it where you want and make a deeper clean on really bad dirty areas (use spot clean option for this) 6. Moping functions is really useful for hard surfaces. Even if this version doesn't have a water tank to wet mopping a surface you can wet the surface before starting the device and let him finish the job for you.

Limitations: If it will last as expected from my point of view I have nothing to complain about it.

Conclusions: Generally easy to use and works on its own, easy to clean and program. Does get stuck in cables, pile carpets and some light furniture with thin table legs, so some preparations of removing obstacles is necessary before usage. Not sure about the different cleaning functions, it seems to be doing the same thing in each function. Also as soon as you let it clean outside the programmed time it has to be reprogrammed. All in all good product that does the job

Advantages: I've been very skeptical about Intelligent vacuum cleaners but I'm a technology geek and wanted to try it by myself. Now I can't imagine my life without this cleaner! I have a dog, and after usage of standard vacuum I launched for a test ILife robot. He was working for ~30 minutes and the rubbish container was almost full of fur! At first run robot stuck in cables but after few attempts he learned to not go in that corner - magic :) I haven't spot any disadvantages of this product. Highly recommended! I'll buy for sure next one but with turbo brush :)

Limitations: No at all

Advantages: I really like this robot vacuum cleaner. We use it in a store after closing, we always swipe and mop but it seems it is not enough the robot can find dirt too. So it is a usefull and must have product. So I recommend it.

Limitations: Nothing yet.

Advantages: - rich feature set in cleaning modes: it can do edge cleaning, through cleaning (see in video) in which it spins around the target with increased power, planned cleaning (cleaning at a specified time), automatic cleaning (it switches modes depending on what it encounters) - rich sensor set: proximity sensor to allow it to not damage the furniture, height sensor to detect stairs or when you lift it up, sensors to allow it to follow wall edges - controllable by remote: use the remote to guide it where you want - decent battery: ~1.5 hrs of cleaning time - ease of use: easily clean the dust bin, easily power it off, easily program it to clean - home base: charging at home base and finding it allows you to automate the cleaning process in your home - small height: allows it to go underneath most of the furniture where it would be tedious to clean with a normal vacuum - doesn't get caught in less dense carpets

Limitations: - some objects still cause it to get stuck: drapery - no location service: sometimes it will go in an area much frequent than other and it depends on how the furniture is placed. It would be cool to have something to allow it to be more constant in it's cleaning - small dust bin

Limitations: Sometimes it gets confused and it goes on the same path as it was before, leaving other paths uncleaned.

Advantages: Works as described on floors, carpets, and tiles. Cleans under beds and cabinets. Pleased with overall quality of the product.

Limitations: No water tank included, so i can't use the mopping function, which is a big minus. The water tank isn't currently available on Gearbest, Ebay, or any of my local stores. I wish it was clearly specified that i need to buy another piece of equipment in order to get the full use of the vacuum.

Advantages: V5 is exactly what I looking for. Everything is OK.

Advantages: It was a little confusing at the start, but it is a great hoover, very quick and powerful, and the best part is the automation.
